The Clearer GLP Conversation Guide

A calm, practical map for checking sources, organizing everyday wellness information, and bringing better questions to a licensed healthcare professional.

Educational information only. Not medical advice.
01

Begin with the boundary

Different questions belong in different rooms.

General education can help you

  • Understand common wellness terms.
  • Compare the source and purpose of a claim.
  • Organize everyday routine information.
  • Turn confusion into a specific question.

Professional care is needed for

  • Prescription and dosing decisions.
  • Symptoms, side effects, or warning signs.
  • Treatment changes or stopping medication.
  • Questions about your health history or interactions.

If the answer depends on your body, health history, prescription, symptoms, or treatment plan, take the question to a licensed healthcare professional.

Five useful questions

Bring a written question, not a feed full of screenshots.

  1. 1

What does this information mean in the context of my own health history and care plan?

  2. 2

What benefits, risks, side effects, or warning signs should I understand?

  3. 3

Could any medication, supplement, or wellness product interact with something I already use?

  4. 4

What source would you recommend if I want to learn more after this appointment?

  5. 5

What should I track or write down before our next conversation?

My next question:
03

The source check

Confidence is not the same as credibility.

Who published it?

Look for an identifiable author, organization, or original source.

What kind of claim is it?

Separate evidence, personal experience, general education, and marketing.

What is being left out?

Strong claims should acknowledge uncertainty, limits, and who may need professional guidance.

Is urgency doing the persuading?

Pause claims built on fear, certainty, scarcity, or a quick-fix promise.

Does it ask you to replace professional care?

Medication and treatment decisions belong with a licensed healthcare professional.
